What happened to Chelmo travelling hordes...

...136 at Windsor. I thought they would've managed at least 100+ today. Nice mild day an' all. Maybe they all stayed behind to 'build-a-stand'. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

Ryan you really do make yourself look stupid sometimes.

Windsor had 124 against you or are you going to tell me you had 100 of them !!!

Just because you got 422 for a game that actually had some meaning (which was your lowest crowd of the year !!!) you try and come back with this.

136 of which we took half (nearly 70 in case you cant work it out) and a game with a side virtually relegated and we have nothing to play for.

Whats your point. ???

Its the same with any team at the end of season that has nothing to play for... fans lose interest and start to save money.

Chelmsford are one of the bigger non league teams (size and history) and should their results improve next year, I would imagine that their travelling support could be 2nd behind AFC but we will see!

You're going to get yourself into trouble saying things like that on here Mr choppers_out.

There are a lot of factors that affect attendances both home and away such as:

- midweek/weekend

- sky games

- time of year

but as a generalisation, if a team is chasing a promotion spot/play off spot, or trying to avoid relegation rather than just sitting mid table with nothing to play for then they are likely to have more travelling fans!
