The complete farce by the Council with the plans just proves that the official report issued prior to Easter was right.

In it Thanet Council was critised for taking too long over planning applications (unless of course it involves KCC and the Turner Centre or Westwood Cross and the death of Margate High Street.)

8 weeks without a response is an utter disgrace and one wonders why Maidstone Council can discuss and decide on planning applications in 5 weeks and any that are still outstanding after 8 they issue a written apologise for the delay stating reason.

Shame Thanet's bunch of ######s like to keep people in the dark. Shame they have forgotten that as elected representatives that are answerable to the local population.

As I have said before local politicians should keep out of town planning and leave it to the professionals. I wonder what is happening to the £19,000 that MFC has sent to the council?
