I have heard that these were available for view in the Club House on Thursday night. Are they available online at all and/or will they be there today?

Excellent plans from what I saw.

Junes explanation probably gives you the answer as to why they are not showing at present.

It would be nice to know however if they have indeed been discussed over yet or if not WHEN they will be looked at.Am sure that whether they be passed as an amendment or as a new application sometime in the very near future they WILL have to be put on show for the public. Over to you James.

I see that there is a proposed Planning Commitee meeting on Wednesday April 19th. Assuming things havent been looked at(I would be amazed if they havent been)then maybe this could be a significant meeting for us.Or maybe a decision is being taken as we speak or maybe it has been passed already without our knowledge. Whichever way, this meeting might throw up something.

As cookie says there is a planning meeting Wednesday. Unfortunately the way the TDC site works, I cant see the report of the current applications (dont ask why...it just doesnt), so I cant say whether the MFC plans are on the agenda. Ill be there...unless theres live commentary on the MFC website. Ill keep trying the TDC website and report back if I see the list.

The plans themselves should be put on the website not long after they are handed in. Sometimes plans can be on that site for months before they ever come before Council. Its very strange that plans be handed in and still not be on the uk planning website two motnhs after they were handed in. I wrote into the Council earlier this week asking about the plans but have as yet received no reply, apart from the obligatory automatically sent reply.

The reason why they will not be on the ukplanning.com website is because it has not yet been decided whether or not if it is going to be considered as an amendment. Once that has been finalised we will find out. For those at the game today you would have noticed that a copy of the plans were on show in the club house.

The extension of Westwood Cross is currently coming under some amendments. All of them have appeared on the uk planning website. One of them, for those interested is that one of the units (there are four on the Pearce Signs development) be split in two. either its split in two or one whole unit is left empty...

Regardless of whether its an amendment or a fresh application, its a big change anyway and should appear.

JKM I trust the club. The plans were displayed in the clubhouse today for every Tom, Dick and Harry to see. Just stop being so negative and leave the planning issues to the professionals. Town Planning would be a lot better if politicians stayed out of things they do not understand.

End of subject as someone said at Tuesdays meeting lets name all the clubs new toilets after famous town councillors.

"Joseba",Well said. To many game playing ,self interested politicians in this world. They ( the local ones)after this disastrous Easter weekend need to take a good long look at the the results of mismanagement of Thanets affairs and take in what it has led to. I do not care which political party they belong to there is not one of them who should escape the stocks and whipping post. Our young budding fellow poster, needs also to take a good long look at these people. I am sure if he is as interested in the club as stated he could have found time to either have popped into the meeting or spared 1/2 an hour on Saturday to have nipped in for a look. I could go on and on and on but i will only increase my blood pressure. I must say after seeing on TV Blackpool councils plans for there resort i can see what we will not be getting.

REMEMBER "town planning would be a lot better if politicions stayed out of things they do not understand" JKM when you are in that position.

Thanks for that James.Did you manage at all to ask around, about the plans, with any council official by any chance? Are they at least in the councils possession?,or do you have no idea at all at present?

You did mention that you were "led to believe" so does that mean someone has mentioned something to you after all & that an "amendment" might be the favourable outcome to the new revised plans rather than a full scale new application?

I didnt talk to any officials about Margate FC. I sent an email to the Planning department asking about Margate FC and have had no reply.

As for why I said "led to believe", my understanding is that for an amendment, it must go before Planning and Full Council. The next Planning meeting could be in May (dont know which day as the new schedule isnt out yet) but the first Full Council meeting afterwards would be June or July as Full Council meetings arent every month. I dont know if its an amendment of a fresh application.
