with jeff putting NO money into the club next season then we can get a new shirt sponser on the front and one under the number on the back!! if you mention Canvey Island FC to any football fan in the uk they would know who we were so maybe if we write to some BIG companys 02 SONY ect they could see us a good club to advertise them, what do you lot think???

I thought a couple of estate agents on the island had already considered being our shirt sponsorship next year?

 

For every company that sponsors us next season, they should display promotional/fixture posters in their premises.

 

But we do actually need a kit and players to fill them first off.

How about Abramovich?

 

He could park his yacht next to the ground so he can nip off quickly after the game.

 

Seriously though, it may be worth playing the guilt card on some of the bigger clubs. Although we wouldn't get much anything would help and it would only cost some time and a stamp.

 

The key thing would be to work out what we can offer them, and seriously it would do Abramovich's PR and social indispensability in the UK a power of good when the Russian courts come looking for him.
