Has the change in anthem made any difference?

Over a year ago there was a debate about what music should be played when the teams came out onto the pitch at Stonebridge Road. If I recall correctly the Fleet specific song " Cheer, Cheer Here Come The Fleet...." proved to be still a popular choice of the fans, but was nevertheless ditched in favour of the ELP version of " Fanfare for the Common Man". While this is certainly better than the embarrassing " Simply the Best " that found favour for a period, as performances have not been inspired by this change, might we not contemplate a return to our own special song? Anyone else in favour of this?

Without doubt. Hearing 'Here Come The Fleet' blasting from the PA at Villa Park as I approached the ground was an all-time classic moment supporting the Fleet.

Especially if they are played simultaneously. This would sound seriously deranged and threatening! On balance though I would say bring back "Here Come The Fleet". Perhaps your choice could be played at half time though, particularly if we are losing.
