So many fantastic memories. Fulham in the FA Cup. Promotion in 99 and winning at Brackley, title in 2001 and the 3-2 win on NYD v Folkestone. Gary Blackford scoring from 30 yards against Tamworth in 2001 which put us clear of Burton and seeing the ball going in all the way to the bottom corner. Winning at Boston in first Conference game. Braithwaite scoring the winner against Stevenage putting us top of the Conference in front of a packed Coffin end. Terry McFlynns great goal against Boston which put us in front at Hartsdown. Gravesend away in FA Cup with legend Phil Collins putting us into the 1st round. Orient away and at Crabble. Playing Cardiff and the goal that should have been but never was when Phil hit the bar from six yards out at 0-0. And finally winning 2-1 away at Wimbledon with 2 brilliant goals from Danny Hockton.

His tactics were not working. CK refused to change them and claimed that he did not have the players to change. However he himself has made the point that he started the season with 4 players so he had the oportunity to build a squad that could adapt to different systems. The board gave CK extra financial backing in December but despite new signings the players heads were really low and CK was unable to lift them or motivate them enough. Of course you will get the occasional good result. Probably more to do with the occasion than anything at AFCW. I am sure we have covered this already anyway.

Memories are memories and legends are legends but Im glad that we will now have a new manager with a fresh approach.
