The Muff on Monday.

There's a current debate on both ConfSouth and the Weymouth message board concerning ticket arrangements for Monday.

As things stand, no, that's no stand tickets are available for Saintsfans for Monday's match. If you're not one of the prawn sandwich brigade, the only option is to stand in the segregated bit with the rest of us Saintsfans. Good company, I agree, but we do have a number of Travelling City Faithful who are not as young, fit and healthy as what I am, and it's them what we should all be concerned about.

I am hopeful that Martyn Harrison, the majority shareholder at Weymouth FC is unaware of this issue and will shortly confirm alternative arrangements.

Mr Harrison has posted on the Muff board and it would seem that there has been contact between the two clubs late today and something has been resolved.

I can't get hold of the chap who used to drive the red tractor but I will speak to him in the morning and put something on here.

I'll waive my usual fee for this one. Doin' it for the City etc.

Very bad news, I'm afraid.

I've just spoken to the chap who used to drive the red tractor and, despite the involvement of Martyn Harrison, the 90% shareholder of Weymouth FC late yesterday, NO, that's NO seats are available for Saintsfans in the main stand at the Wessex Satdium on Monday.

The box/enclosure for visiting Directors/Officials is available for visiting Directors/Officials and anyone else who can fit in, presumably, but that's it.

I'm very, very disapponted indeed, and the Curse of AFF is now upon them. Their club will rot in Hell. B'stards.

For your further information, Martyn Harrison has posted on the Weymouth message board that they "are not able to offer a bar service to visitng fans".

If anyone was thinking of having a drink in the Weymouth clubhouse before or after the game on Monday, think again. It's closed to us.

It's most unfortunate that the petty vendettas waged by the Officials of Weymouth towards some of the Officials at our club have resulted in the creation of a level of discomfort for Saintsfans. Ironically, of course, our Officials will be largely unaffected. None of this does Weymouth FC any credit and the sooner we are playing in a different League to these people the better I will like it.

On their board, they cite "police advice". Perlease don't insult my intelligence. I would have a level of respect for these people if they openly said "We don't like [him and him and him] from St Albans City so we are going to make their visit to the Wessex Stadium as uncomfortable as possible, and if they don't like it, we don't care".

These people have changed what promised to be a good day out to a game to be gotten out the way. I have no doubt that Colin Lippiatt, t'lads and all Saintsfans will rise above this level of cr@p and make it a match to remember. That will be the very best response.

Hi AFF,
From my experience little petty things like this should only make your lads more motivated to give them a good hiding, remember the pressure is all on them to perform at home and I hope that will work to your advantage.
I will be rooting for you!!

Thanks for that Mancini, bello.

This current team is good - very good indeed - and they have some pretty large shirts to fill [ben excepted!].

I have absolutely no doubt that if t'lads perform to the level that they are capable of, three points are there on Monday. You are absolutely right, of course, this sort of cr@p from the Officials of the Muff will give 'em a little more incentive.

Best regards to you.

Great stuff in the Observer today (cheque to the usual place, please). Three whole pages devoted to the 'biggest game in Saints history' as our Chairman describes it.

Interviews with Gibbo, the Riddler, Garry Hill, Matty Hanny, bazza, Matty Boundy, Gary Calder, Steve Clark and some bloke called Tavener (who he? - Ed).

Makes the hairs on the back of your neck tingle just reading it. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Fristly, that's not in my head at all, Rob2.

I believe that we can 'treat those two imposters the same'. [That's 'victory and defeat' for those who don't know.]. We are now mathematically certain of a place in the play-off matches at least and if we go into those playing the sort of football and with the level of confidence that t'lads have shown over the past few weeks, we'll get there that way!

No problemo.

He doesn't come on here, Walter.

Last Saturday's was a pretty big game in my view.

"Biggest in history" is a fairly grande title, however. The Bedford play-off game would rank in recent times. Poetic hyperbole. I blame Alistair Campbell and that lunatic that he works for.

Which would be yours? How about your "Top 5 All Time Biggest Games in Saints' History"?
