According to the Moderator of the Slough Town board [and we know how reliable 50% of Moderators are] the local rag down there [and I can't even begin to mention what that chap who ghost writes The Duos' stuff has put in The Observer this week]... anyway. Where was I?

 

Oh yes. Apparently, The Slough Express is 'linking' Leon to Slough. The Moderator then goes on to say that Leon is on loan at Windsor & Eton.

 

If true. you heard it here first. If not, it's nothing to do with me. Then again, perhaps there are two of them.

Webbo must have read that. He has just put it on the latest news section of the site.

 

Strange that. If it's a loan, he must be on a contract.

I cannot tell a lie, AFF, I put it on the site as it came from a (fairly) reliable source, i.e the chap who used to drive the red tractor.

 

On another note, I read that the Woooood manager is threatening to ring up Robbo to ask about the situation regarding Rob Gould so perhaps the squad is being trimmed down as reported.

Defenders at the club:

R/B none until now, now we have Gledhill with Ryan, Gould & Evans as back up (ish)

C/B Campbell & Browne, Ryan and Gould and Townley as well.

L/B Naylor with Hollenbach (or Smith) as cover.

 

That means we have 5 centre backs now and lets face it Leon's dropped down the pecking order a bit, it'll be good to get his wages off the books for a month.
