Shortfall in attendances

Recommended Posts

It's from a more reliable source than you, who is also involved in council activities.

The housing stock WILL change over to a housing association,

against the will of the residents.

Why do you think they've asked, got told told no, asked again, got told no again and subsequently are asking residents again?

It's a done deal - the contracts are already signed.

It's just a case of badgering the residents until they give the right answer.

Because, as I have already said, Gravesham Borough council is something that will still exist!!!!!

Gravesham Council's existence is an entirely different issue to whether or not their housing stock transfers to a housing association.

The housing stock will transfer to a totally different company - one of the housing associations that already exist.

For somebody who works for the council, you don't appear to understand that much of the situation.

I hope that you are wrong FF re the outcome of a transfer of the Council's housing stock. Many Housing Associations in other areas have proved to be pretty poor landlords. Also, as the tenants have voted to remain council tenants, it wouldn't be a democratic decision to go against their will. Sometimes councils are run like....well, some football clubs I suppose!
