charles
Can someone give me the Chelmsford unofficial website address as I can't find it?
Ribbit
If he wants to go, let him go. Watching Jeff go will be just as hard as watching Boylan or Wardy walk out the door. Good luck to him, I hope he does well with Chelmsford, if that is where he decides to take his money. I just hope that the Chelmsford fans apprecaite his money a bit more than the people of Canvey ever have.

Ribbit
How can we not wish him well? He's taken us to where we are now. We wouldn't be here without his money.

Yellow Bungle
You can't argue with what Jeff has done and achieved. Undoubtably this has been a tough decision for him and as none of us have been in a similar position it is a bit unfair to turn on him know. So let's wish him the best. My main regret is that the club has missed a golden opportunity. We should have expolited our window when we were on the up and Southend on ropes. With Southend now heading to Division 2 (lets call it was it is!) it think we have missed the boat.

Matt H
It was quite short and nothing more than we already know. Just reiterated what was said at Sunday's meeting. He feels he's taken the Club as far as possible, but has hit a dead end. He thanked the fans. But said the King company will only put in as much money as other local businesses, (which to me only sounds like a sponsorship deal). Hopefully it will be repeated during their next Sports Bulletin. smallsy
chopper if youd have seen the crowds at chelmo when they first went back to melbourne youd see the potential they have. they will be a league club in the next 5-10 years mark my words. i went to the grays game in the essex senior cup QF and the infamous braintree SEMI and they had over 1500 people there on a monday night! derby or not at 8 quid a pop they must be raking it in.
