Ok so what do you think our starting line up is going to be?

for me,

Millard

Kerrers

Swaine

Dormer

Macca

Hodges

Leon

Gamo

Forbes

Flack

Elder

I reckon this will go all the way to extra time, with us nicking one in the closing moments. 1-0 to us!!

My team would be:

Millard

Macca Swaine Dormer Kerrers

Hodges Game Hunter Collins

Elder Flack

subs:Brightley, Brown, Henty, Forbes, Poole

I think it'll be a very close game, hopefully we can win it, but whatever happens it will be a quality night....Come on you blues!!!

My team will be;

Pullen

C Piper Warren Davies Deen

Riviere Hearn Barr L Piper

Watts West

Bench: Smith, Duku, Clancy, Packham, err thats it...no one else available!

I agree with the predictions, it will be a very close game. Whoever gets the run of the green, one or two dodgy decisions will probably edge it...lets hope for a classic!

Pleased to see you boys have so much choice at your disposal...we have 12 available outfield players so I doubt these 'Pick your side' posts would work very well amongst our following!

Pick your keeper 'Pullen or Packham' would probably work better...

I'm confident however my Metalic balloons will inspire the Fish to victory!

yep, seems Swain has been the pick for us all over Brown. One thing I would say is that on Sat in the second half, I got to stand level with our back four and again it was very very quiet with no player really taking command.

Balloons!! we should get some too!!

Think I'd prefer Dormer at the back (who would've thought we'd be saying that!). Close call between Swaine and Brown, but on recent form I'd go with Swaine.

Millard

McSweeney, Swaine, Dormer, Kerrigan

Henty, Hunter, Game, Collins

Flack, Elder

The good thing at the moment is that whatever side we put out, we know it's going to be strong.

For me Dormer was an instant pick at the back as he is a senior head and is composed on the ball. I'd be very interested to know whether it is a short or long term switch for him in this defensive role (ie whether he is happy playing there as that could be one area for next season sorted).

It was an instant pick for me to put Swaine ahead of Brown. They are both of similar stature and have limited experience (very in Swaine's case) but I feel that Swaine has the potential to be a very good defender and of course would be another success for our youth system - which I hope we persevere with.

I did think about moving Macca inside and playing Henty at right back as its such a big game but then I thought that Swaine showed by playing in front of 600 Dons fans that he has the bottle for the big occasion.

As you say, whichever way Matty goes I'm sure the lads will give it everything tomorrow.

Millard

Macca, Swaine, Dormer, Kerrers

Hodges, Game, Hunter, Collins

Flack, Elder

Subs Dale, Brown, Henty, Poole, Forbes

I think Dormer is a must at the back at the mo as you really need a leader in midfield (hunter) and in defence Dormer

On the subject of the youth team as the time I was most impressed with the team in particular Swaine and another lad Tydeman (or something like that) is still with the youth side and if so how is he progressing
