Although of course better than the 878 at the Chelmo/AFC game back in November. I would say that the split of the 1180 was roughly even which would equate to 590 of us. Prior to yesterday our average home gate was 486 - if you take off say 30 of that to account for an "average" amount of away fans, that would mean the attraction of AFC pulled in about 130 more "home" fans than we would typically get. So I really can't see why you think it's a disappointing crowd.

I would like to think that after being twated 4 zip at home two weeks ago, the away travelling support suffered. Every team has it's hangers on and good time supporters that will make the journey if the team is doing well...maybe some decided that after the Hampton game, it wasn't worth it?

 

Who knows...but it was a good day, all the same.

 

And apologies to the team for not praising them in my original match report. We were the better team.
