essex sunday junior trophy final - pro performance 3 - renegades 1

an excellent mornings entertainment at great wakering as the 'pro performance' lads achieved a league and cup double with a 3 -1 victory over a very useful braintree based 'renegades'.

 

1-0 down at half time, the 'pro performance' team featuring several ESL players rallied well in the second half led by 'MIMM' dan trenkel and ran out worthy champions. The highlight of which was a near post headed goal to take the lead from the forums very own 'MIMIB' jon flanders.

 

captain and joint team manager dan trenkel scored the equaliser and my MOM was the pro performance left back terry baker.

 

nice to see old friends from gt wakering again as well.... usual warm welcome to nett and I...and a very well organised event as usual by the essex FA...
