Maybe we'll also get a mention in the Torygraph this week as Mr & Mrs Ridley were there on Saturday.

There is an old joke where the punch-line is "that was no lady, that was my wife", Rob, which is, certainly, not appropriate on this occasion.

 

Ian Ridley was, indeed, at Fortress Clarence Park on Saturday, and, for the first time, we passed a word or three for a few minutes in the clubhouse before the game. You know me, Rob. I'll mix with anyone! Nice guy, actually. He makes the occasional visit to the message boards, apparently, but I didn't let on that I post on here as AFF. You can't be too careful!

 

Anyway, the lady that was with him in the clubhouse before the game was 'Roberta', who was once the Commercial Manager at The Mighty Saints before Graham MacDougal, and I think that they were discussing old times and old sponsorships.
