Totally out of order Arky.I'm surprised at you.

Go back through my posts this year. They are full of praise when we play well.and honestly critical when we don't.

For every critical comment on players and performance,i write at least 3 or 4 coments in priase of players.

Take last Saturdays game for instance. In personally praised the good performances of Rudi Hall,Steve Magona,Al-James Hannigan, and Niall Ritchie. In the preceeding couple of games,i have given glowing references on both the teams performance, and that of individuals like Matty Negus,Dave Allen,Kevin Stevens,Steve Velendia.

Maybe our differences on 'political matters',may be the real reason behind your biased outlook towards my comments? Who knows. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Well that's alright then, perhaps I'm not recognising just how fair minded & honest you are.
Differences on 'Political Matters', btw my politics would be along the lines of Churchill & Lloyd-George.
As I believe you are of a blue hue, it must be difficult to support a team based on communist lines though, ie Ownership by all?.

Hope the club isn't based on communism, because communism has long track record of failing miserably.Human nature always ensures that conclusion,no matter how noble the original ideology.

No, i hope out club is run in a free democratic way, with the interests of the club and its members at the forefront of its priorities. We certainly don't want a club that is constantly pandering to the 'institutional PC brigade' that infest most areas of public life and government.

Lets keep our focus.A club owned and run by its fans.Run in the sole purpose of restoring footballing pride and success back to the people of Enfield.I feel at present, we are doing a bloody good job of achieving those aims.Lets just remember not to get sidetracked by superfluous unimportant issues.

Reminds me of a scene from the TV series 'Peep show', when the main character loses his temper with his layabout flatmate who's spouting on about communism.

He screams at him. 'Look. Its only the miracle of comsumer capitalism , that you're not lying in your own sh*t,dying at 43 with rotten teeth.' <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Now let get back to football matters. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yes I understand where your coming from on that but I only commented because as a neutral spectator I couldnt get to grips with the stance being taken by all you Townies when laying all the discussions and blame at the door of the Strikers.

I know that Hannigan has stiffened up that defence of yours since he appeared on the scene.

Thats what makes it all the more suprising to see him make a mistake like that.

However what is also more strange is no-one on here has mentioned him by name, but all think that Hammat is fair game.

And T Paul is just going thru a low confidence patch, enough said.

As for Dave Allen well he got caught cold by your missing left back ( M Negus ) when the ball was played into the channel behind him and Dave had to come across to cover him.

These are the things you should all take into account when things like last Sat happen, not one person or even one incident's fault but a combination of all amounting to one fatal mistake that cost you the equaliser.

I'd love to see Town come second and gain an automatic promotion spot.

But you've got to support all players when at this stage of the season every game is now a cup final.

Because every one you play wants to disrupt your season and would take great delight in taking a point off you to delay you going up or even stop you going up.

It amounts to Jealousy and Envy on their part but still represents their biggest incentive in an otherwise mundane pointless, Trophy less season for the rest of the division.

Good Luck All. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

As I was saying....It's all about chances...

And christ did Trevor Paul do it again or what ?

When on the field a few minutes he failed to swing his favorite left peg at the ball and then blasted a golden opportunity over, again with is favoured left.

Enough is enough.

I know it is not about one player, but in two concecutive games he has cost us 4 points.

Harsh....YES.

True.....YES.

Again, how infuriating, not the side foot blaze over the bar but the "oh ive missed that chance so I will just watch the keeper chase & gather the ball attitude".

Unlike Dean Nyman who run himself ragged in the 2nd half, the boy deserves to be given a run in the team for the last 3 games.

You can excuse an odd miss when someone is giving 100% but when they appear to have a laid back attitude when chasing a game it is INFURIATING!!
