Totally agree - not quite sure why city had such an off day. Histon were definitely up for this one and the gusty wind didn't help.

I thought that for only the second time this season (first being away to Kettering) the team looked sligthly 'nervous'.

 

I wonder if the realisation of what is at stake is starting to hit home ?

 

We should not forget that this is quite a young and inexperienced side who only last year looked dead and burried at one point.

 

I really hope we make it into the Conference ...but if we don't it will have been a very surprising/exciting season and we are seeing the beginnings of a very strong side IMO.

You may well be right, it certainly looked that way R2 but we still came through with 3 points.

 

It was somewhat disjointed, at times, yesterday but I think we need to give a bit of credit to Histon and to the way they played, as well. I thought Patrick and Haks both had good games but for me, Bazza's amazing save in the first 10 minutes turned the game and his whole performance, considering the injury he was carrying following the collision with their forward, was outstanding. My MOM, without question.

 

We haven't seen anything like the best from this team yet.
