Slough Town v Folkestone Invicta: MATCH THREAD

They were poor, barely a chance created in the game and we had Woodruffe sent off after about 30 mins!!

So 10 man Rebels ably "managed" by Ashley Hames carved out a 2-0 win.

That should finish any lingering relegation issues and might see the end of Woodruffe for being a complete idiot. The man completely lost it.

Immense performances by all the others, especially Alexis, Carbon and of course Daly.

Hope so the mans a nut case. How many times throughout the season and in one match does he need to be told to shut up and stop moaning.

Good performance with 10 men on a dry bumpy pitch agaist the team with the most fat blokes I have ever seen outside a Sunday morning pub team. The lard [****!!****] no 7 was unbelievable & the 2 should have got a red card for the forearm smash on Gareth in the first half.

Can't believe how bad Folkestone were given the run of form they've been in. Good result though and well done to those involved.

Well done to the supporters as well who helped create a very good atmosphere, not only for the show, but more fittingly as a good tribute to June Cousins.

There must be a Really good pie shop in Folkestone <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" />

Thought we played really well today, despite them being awful (bit like roles reversed from the away fixture) and to restrict them to only half chances with 10 men was a fantastic effort.

Woody needs a kick-up the backside after today's sending off. It could have cost us the match and with Avery only half-fit could have damaged his injury sustained against Staines last week more. Was a needless sending-off.

Agreed Alexis, Josias, Chopper and Daly were excellent but suprised nobody has metioned Aaron Steele - was fantastic today.

The 'experiment' kind of worked really, but not in the way I think we wanted it to. Put a bit of life and excitement back into a season which was slowly fizzing-out in the last few games...

I never want him to play for us again. He's a liability.
