Suggestions For New Manager

I think an early appointment isvital.

We don't want close season to start without a manager,or it will be another close season 'lost', without the opportunity to bring players in.

Managers are searching for next seasons squads already and we must not be left behind

I think you might have hit the nail on the head with that one MM. My thoughts too all along. Just have to see if we were right or not on that one wont we! Lets just hope that the mention of those(unnamed) players werent used for personal reasons

rather than those of the club.If it turns out there are no longer names in that catagory available now then I think it would be safe to assume they were mentioned in desperation.Didnt work if that be the case.

Tuesday will tell us the true story.

Am still slightly concerned about the ground situation though. That is concerning me more with each day that passes.Again,we shall know or at least be told the situation up-to-date on Tuesday.

Getting back to the topic of this thread I have always admired FORDSs way of playing but apart from that I think Robin has started out well for a man of no experience therefore if he wants it he should be offered the post first I think depending on future results this season of course.Maybe he has earned the post already with the one game. Hessentaler indeed would be good for attendances & his experience would obviously be a major influence.

As for Gazza,as someone mentioned(in fun obviously)we couldnt afford to change managers again after a couple of games. Besides Kettering went downhill from the moment he joined them and even after he left them.As did Gazza himself(poor lad).Hope he's getting himself sorted out at last.

Since my post above I have received certain information that makes things look a lot clearer and my concerns above are now NOT concerns.re;Ground. I think Tuesday night people that can get there will be pleasantly surprised at what they hear.Am saying nothing more except to say things are looking better than I had imagined them to be. Heads up everyone!

As for those players mentioned or should I say mentioned not by name that we are supposed to believe may be coming then that too might show some truth, again giving me a different view on things once again.

All in all my previous post therefore should be ignored and we should be looking at some good vibes Tuesday night.

I wasn't at the game saturday so i have to rely on others who's opinions i trust. They have told me the set up was very professional, the match warm up was better than the injury begging previous one, the team seemed to be enjoying themselves and mike Flanagan looked and acted the part on the bench. If this performance continues why look any where else. If A H was to come in and was successful how long would he stay. If we are successful in promotion then people will want a piece of the guy and i can see us having another change in 12 months. Give RT credit he has brought in a very experienced older head to help him, shows a good head on relatively young management shoulders. With a man like Flanagan on the side i do not see any reason why he cannot continue to play and be manager. Only time will tell.

whilst i was delighted with the result ,and again, did like the way that RT led the side and particularly held the defence back in position after we scored; i did not see too much different in the overall approach-can't see how the warm up was much different, can't see how our new Buster phsio was vastly different to Griffin.

Not a criticism in anyway, but just not getting too carried away.

It was evolution, not revolution, but to quote KP, he was right whe he said things needed 'freshening up'.

Give RT and Flannagan and reed a week to work with the players and this week we may see some real change

In fairness to CK, he has signed some good players-this season aswell-but for reasons we will never know, they sliped away.

I thought Warren Ryan` was the biggest loss-imagine if we had him alongside Trott-pace height ,power.

Was a bit surprised we let Amoako go-he had a scoring knack and was quick.

Kember almost came.

Robinson came and went.

Mind you ,there have been some duds-Baxter,resigning Shambles(what was that all about )
