You obviously don't know what functions we do & don't hold at Brimmo, so far the only thing we do elsewhere is our Quiz Night. We hold our Presentation Night, Kids Parites, New Years Eve Parties & other like that in the Downs Bar at Brimmo. You should get your fact straight before posting. I would not even think about questioning EFC on their Fundraising.

SAM SAYS..... Didn't I read on this very forum a few months back about having a function in a local school then ??? It appears you dont know where your club functions are held either my ol darlin.

The difference is that we put three times as much money per-game behind the bar at Brimsdown, than you do at Wodson park.Brimsdown have also gained vertually a new football ground out of our involvment with them.Have EFC improved Ware's ground for them at all? If you had, they might offer you a bit of a discount on your rent.We also provide Brimsdown with a full time groundsman and pay for resoiling/ grass treatment...ect.If you did that, maybe your rent would be the same as we pay.

Brimsdown have been very good for ETF .ETFC have been very good for Brimsdown. They do not owe us any favours,we do not owe them any.The situation is benificial for both clubs, end of.No favours expected or required on either side.Just as EFC and Ware Fc owe each other no favours.
SAM SAYS ....Ok then stuffy point taken . Respect to you even though you are a townie You can put across a fair argument I'll give you that and you can turn a futile arguement into a convincing one , Cant you give some forum lessons to some of your pals that need them.

One good reason for the quiz evenings taking place at St. Lukes Church Hall is that the Down's bar is too small and doesn't have enough tables and chairs. We sold sixteen tables of eight at the last quiz evening and could have sold more if we had more space. The other event we held at the hall was the New Year's Eve party in 2004 and we had to do it there because Brimsdown had already hired out the Downs without giving us first refusal on it!

Reading between the lines I doubt very much that the council are particularly interested in a couple of stupid throwaway comments on a non-league forum. Don't forget it wasn't that long ago that you lost a court case due to falling out with another club, I'm sure if the council have anything about them they won't look at that in a favourable light either, although why that would make any difference to getting the green light for a stadium is beyond me.

It seems to me that some people are more interested in what the other club is doing, than putting that energy into pushing their own team forward.

Don't you knock my mate Trigger. He's had the same broom for over 17 years. Just remember the motto "Take care of ya broom."

Don't you just love the sweeper system!

I'm pleased for you that you have a club owner with bottomless pockets, enjoy - but stay off Roy Butlers grass without his permission.

1st point. I wish Steve had a bottomless pockets!!!!

2nd point stay off Roy Butlers pitch!!! I know he does a lot of work on it but at the end of the day it's NOT HIS PITCH!!! It would be the Brimsdown that would give permission to use it if anyone wanted to use it. Be carefull what you say as things like that can upset landlords!!!!
