Very interesting Unc, Sudbury should be a strong enough outfit, but Bury Town have had a good season, Vase semi's unless I'm mistaken?

 

Other than that, it should make for a great season. I'm sure we can expect good games at the likes of GWR and Harlow for starters.

i propose the following shortlist.

 

aveley - most local team, plus we can give lager dave LOOOOADS of stick

 

enfield - better than spurs, but still spurs.

 

ilford - not the real romford

 

potters bar - i hate them already. purely personal reasons. i'll go with the flow, but i hate them.

 

tilbury - hell on earth

Ware are top of Ryman 2 (I think) at the moment, but I'll need to look at Multimap to see where (he he) they are!?£*&!

 

Hatred, from my part must be reserved for anyone who think they can halt our rise....but from the past, GWR for stopping us winning the league on the last day of that fateful season...whever that was. Avelely, just because..

 

That'll do for starters, they'll all hate us at some point or another as in general they have no fans, barring Sudbury and Bury, unless these places kick some more locals out of their respective asylums near match days.

the officials at wakering tho' are real nice people and very hospitable as well...nice bar and nice food...

Are we talking about us going the Southern Route, or the Ryman Route?

Aveley are in the Southern East and their barperson left months ago.They are trying to encourage more fans and they are nice people.

 

GWR are a team we have many a serious game with but Hully left yonks ago, and yes their committee are a super bunch. Mick, the barperson, unfortunately passed away, after years of devotion to the club he loved. GWR is usually regarded as the best pitch around, as Ipswich was about 40 years ago for the WH boys.

 

Let's wait and see and concentrate on the two CF's.

My understanding is there will be a rationalisation of the southern east and ryman leagues 1 and 2, to make them more geographically logical.

 

There seems to be a fair bit of work to do, if you read the NLP, but the set up Unc suggests seems to be the most likely.

 

I'm just glad we're looking forward to yet another adventure next season.

 

I can't remember the GWR pitch, just that last missed header..which could have changed everything.

If they do, it could be interesting - in order to stop clubs moving up by merging with a club in a higher league, it was decided that any such merged clubs would go into the lower of the two leagues. I don't know if the ruling is still in force.

 

This came about a few seasons ago when a club jumped two divisions by what was described as a 'hostile merger'.

 

And of course what would they be called?

 

My suggestion would be for Barkingside to call themselves Redbridge (to reflect the area) and for Redbridge to acknowledge their Ford connections by including Dagenham in the name - so the new name should be Redbridge and Dagenham. I doubt whether anyone would complain.
