In todays NLP- It feels to me like I've been sacked. And that's unbelievable after what we have had to put up with.

 

The last 3 years have been hell. To keep the club going and stopped players from going on strike has been a real battle. In fact, I'm probably more proud of that than all the things I've won here. Last year the fans were all waving placards saying please don't go Chris and now this happens.

 

The ground is still up in the air and things are all over the show Im afraid. Work was supposed to start at Christmas, then it was changed to April and now they dont know when it will be. I have had to put up with all that rubbish and kept the players & directors going at the same time. Im proud of that and Im in top 3 non league managers. But thats football.

Now that is damaging to us. It makes it sound like we still have problems paying the players.

Maybe comments like that will finally get some information from the club re the ground development as surely KP and co will want to reply to this to allay any fears we might have. They will do, surely, won't they? If no news then we can only assume CK is right and the whole thing is in chaos again.

It will be brought up at the MISA meeting and then JK Maskell said he will post it all on here for us to read and digest

You can bet Piper will get a grilling at the meeting next week.

I agree, I think by holding this meeting the board prove that they are listening to the fans and will no doubt explain their reasoning. This can only be a good thing.

I understand Chris being sore, but I feel quite unsure as to whether it is right to say that about the club, as it could be damaging.

Still, I am sure Chris would not want to do that, however he felt about his leaving, would he?

If I were sinking a lot of money into a football stadium I would want to know what division the team are going to be playing in next season. This will affect attendances, revenue, and the chances of success of any associated commercial venture.

 

I certainly wouldn't be making any commitment to Margate right now until they are safe from relegation.

Chris I think you may well have put your finger on the irritation of the board and why they have had itchy feet since Xmas time.

I think KP was intimating that in his interview in the Gazette. Quite right Chris. There seems to have been pressure from all sides therefore those pointing the finger maybe should understand that before casting blame for CKs suspension.Theres lots more that we dont know that has led to this decision.
