Sorry, you can look at his stats all day long and tell me I am wrong. But he is not the manager for us. No doubt the Ramsgate fans (all 2 of them) will come back at me but I dont care what they say. I would very much doubt he would be a success and it would be a massive disappointment for me if he were to take over. A huge leap backwards. Lets look forward.

You can't deny he has done a brilliant job at Southwood over the last couple of years. However, the time he did have some cash (when he left Ramsgate a few years ago to go to Maidstone), it didn't really work out.

Came back and took over what was a very good young squad.

Its the squad he has at the club that has got him where he is now. Im saying all this now as I fear that he could be selected. After all he is looking good for two promotions two years in a row. Insider info from somebody who has worked for him though says he is not all he is cracked up to be and that training leaves a lot to be desired. I would be gutted for him to take over.

I very much doubt that if (which looks likely) Ramsgate were to get promoted, that Jim Ward would be allowed or himself would want to leave anyway. I also remember reading that he has turned down higher jobs before to stay with Ramsgate.

Doubt that was the case in reality terms. My opinion is is that was just an angle,looking for more dosh next year from his current employers.
