Trott not daunted in the slightest

Having rushed out to buy the paper at this hour I thought I would let the exiles know that Trott is relishing the job. He said it is a challenge and he is not daunted in the slightest. Expects to make some tweaks and change the formation but not massive changes as he wouldnt like them as a player. Said he was shocked about CK but KP had to do what he had to do. Says we should fear nothing & will instill a winning metality.

Also KP said the decision to sack CK was made BEFORE the Windsor game. But Im feeling positive and will leave that to others when you get your hands on the paper.

CK disappointed that KP did what he did after he could have taken 3 jobs in his time at Margate but had an excellent rapport with the fans. Says he still feels he can transform another 2 sides in his career and says KP will have hard job finding another man as good. CK reveals that the please stay Chris campaign kept him at the club last season and disappointed that after he stuck by KP in hard times his loyalty was not repaid.

But to finish on a positive note I am looking forward to the new era. Am very excited actually.

I was one of those involved with that campagne last year. Since that time we have ALL been patient."Give it more time" had been mentioned on several occasions and at several intervals. CK wasnt getting the results even with the new recent better type additions to the squad. With only half dozen games to go I can see where this decision has come from. Whilst I personnally still believe in CK in some way I feel it may well give us some "buzz" back(no disrespect to CK)to see us through this season. It wasnt OUR decision but its been made.Time to help the get behind those that take it on from here.

Thanks for all that GW. Saves me buying a paper now l.o.l.(as if it would)

I can see both sides of the coin here. I am gutted for CK. Disappointed we never saw the players he was bringing in during the summer. Never know if he would have got us motoring again. BUT I am excited that now we are playing a formation that I like a lot with these players and have a manager that is a great motivator which I always favour in a manager. And he sees this as a great challenge and would love the job permanently. - forgot to mention that!

One assumes a back 4 which is what we all seem to want.

I winder who wil get those positions though.

Assume ful backs are between Oates,Allman and Sranden.

Trott plays.

Leaves one from Donovan, Deen,Edwards or even Demoah and Keister.

Geoff the problem before was that teams were killing our defence by getting in behind the wing backs, dragging out the centre backs and then leaving the slow Edwards isolated. It was clearly a major problem and a big area for opponents to exploit. And they did. I am glad that we are changing formation and believe that this will give us a much more balanced team and a solid base there as a foundation for our play. Time to discard the CK tinted glasses now he has gone.
