Interesting to see in today's Slough Express that we were being linked with Leon Townley. Not sure if it would be a good signing or not. Read today though that he has gone on loan to Windsor & Eton. <img src="/forums/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />

 

Adrian Blake has gone to Maidenhead on loan for a month. I think it will be good for him to get some match practice.

My recollection of Leon is that he started really impressively when he joined us from Brentford, but that his form and fitness went progressively downhill. Many felt that Browne was making things worse by playing him out of position, but don't think that fully explains his loss of form. I think he went to Aldershot and quickly lost his first-team place there - what has happened to him since then ?
