Whats the situation now bearing in mind CK s exit. Who will be managing the other team now or would the impossible & unexpected occur where CK would come back to manage the side he intended to manage for this event originally. Will it be the Folkestone boss taking over & going head to head with Walker?.

But that would be an embarrassment to those who gave him his marching orders would it not.I know its for a good cause but would he would they STILL get together on the day? Somehow I have my doubts but you never know! Maybe Wellsie or Greenie could update us on this or maybe its too soon to ask. Was just wondering thats all.

A personal opinion for now (confirmation to follow) but given the reason for the event on 30th April I wouldn't see an issue from either party.

Following and despite of this weeks events at Hartsdown Park, we are delighted (and to a certain degree relieved) to announce that Chris Kinnear has told me by telephone this evening that he is still very much involved in the SYKO CHALLENGE and will coach one of the teams on Sunday April 30th.

No surprise, he is, after all, a true gent.

And the Syko thing is bigger than all of this.

And at the end of the day, I would not expect much acrimony, my take of this situation is that there is a lot of respect on all sides, despite the events of this week, which will probably endure.

Well said MargateFan, and I hope that will be the attitude that everyone will take on the day.

After all, April 30th is all about saying goodbye to a damned nice guy, and after all you just have to look at the number of players who have come forward and asked us if they could take part!

As the Poster says "Kent Football says GOODBYE to one of our own!"
