its funny you say that as the ref imjured himself and a local lino came to the aid. sadly this one was from kettering so we didnt know his name and couldnt sing for him. all he had to do was raise his flag once for a clear offside. and apart from the first 20 minutes we totally outplayed them so they could make no excuses and they were also fighting in the dressing room after the game with each other. i dont know how they are top of the league as they were shocking. it will be a nailbitter to the end for 2nd but hopefully our neighboroughs do us a favour and make it another double over you's by a northamptonshire. mon the rowell

I felt that Boreham Wood at their place was the best team I have seen for many years. Certainly since Enfield left Southbury Road. At Brimsdown they were not so hot but their performance in the Trophy this season seems to demonstrate that they are a class act.

There recent loss of form may be becauuse of that Trophy run and playing Corby may be a little like after the Lord Mayors Show. If Town win on Saturday and Boreham Wood drop points away to Dartford (Which is not impossible) the title race will not be over. The fat lady is not singing yet.

Corby did not impress at Corby nor at Brimsdown though you did do the double over us. Town are now playing better than they have all season and seem to have a settled team with cover in most positions. The improvement in the side has come about with the signing of Al James Hannigan and Brian Hammet at last hitting form. I think that we can win all of our last 4 matches and certainly pick up at least 6 points from the last 4 which will leave you and Stamford fighting over third place and home advantage in the play offs. Home advantage at Corby is clearly worth a goal start.

If we get 6 points then you will have to win all of your games as our goal difference is vastly superior to Corby.

i think that it aint over yet but we might have to make do with 3rd place. home advantage for us is key as our home form is very good losing one game at the triangle this season and only 2 since december 2004. hopefully you may go on a slide like boring wood are and we can sneak second place but its highly unlikely.

im sure hell be back out in time for stamford. just hope he does his stretches or hell get injured.

 

i think i will saty on here seems a good board with good people. just hope that it will be an unsettled board by the play-off final that you, not us, will be competing in. id like to see us both go up as i cant stand stamford. your thoughts.
