Fixture Cards 2006/7

Something completely different to recent events.

Next years fixture cards(none this year) will be printed and made ready for the new season in this same league once next years PREMIER fixtures come out.They will be pocket size and covered in a thin plastic film for durability.

These fixture cards have already been agreed to be sponsored by one of our Directors,Andrew Page of P.H.Accountants in Whitstable.I would like to thank him for his generous offer.

And so from next season these cards will be made available to you all and to the public before the first game of the season.

cards are great idea, how often people ask me "do you know if margate are at home this week" its untrue.

Well done Cookie for pursuing this and Phildminime for coming up with the idea at the right time. Its a great move for Andy Page as well I feel as these cards will get to a lot of people.

If its the decider & we come through it dosent matter who is in charge...does it??????

Are you really expecting us to win on Saturday...I'm not! But I am hopeful that we can do the business at other games. Trott wont work a miracle immediately I wouldnt have thought but I have every confidence in him,in the players to get those points,enough points from the remaining games to keep us safe.No mortgage this time,just a feeling of hopeful expectation.

There is just a chance we could pull it off this saturday.

 

Player for player we are probably best side in league.

 

Mitten,Oates, Edwards ,Donovan ,Allman,Trott,Gradley,Keister,Brayley,Protheroe and Hockton all have conference national experience.

 

Protheroe and Brayley,and possibly Donovan have played conference national standard this season

 

Add Deen who is an international player,and Standen who played in football league,and you have on paper the best side in league.

 

Put that on the notice board and tell those guys to get out there and perform to the standard they should be.
