I started supporting MFC in 1980. Until the arrival of CK, we had one success in the KSC. Chris, his methods, his man management, his ability to spot a player, his drive, his determination and his formation... yes his formation..... led to me being able to see the club I love reach heights I never believed were possible. Thanks Chris for all the memories, and there are so many glorious ones.

 

For him to be treated in such as shabby way, torn of his dignity and left in limbo, is a complete outrage. The man clearly deserves so much better.

 

Contrast his dignity on the radio, his loyalty over the last two and a half seasons in particular , his relationships with the fans and his love for the club. CK can hold his head up high - he is and always will be an MFC legend.

 

 

Compare that with the shady dealings of the real culprits here. The cut and run merchant who tried to run before he walked, promised the earth, and then bailed out when the going got tough. The seedy half truths we have constantly been fed by the current incumbants, one in particular, who again speak of shiny new grounds, hotels, casinos and anything else that may bring them personal glory and feed their inflated egos.

 

They should hang their heads in shame at the way they have treated the most successful manager this club has ever had.They have made their bed, let them fester in it.

 

And I know life has to go on. Results were not good, but as I have consistently said on this board over the last few years, no manager in any league could have succeeded in the circumstances under which CK was expected to operate. I wish Robin Trott all the best, and will still follow the club through thick and thin.
