All sounds bad to me.

Should pass a blanket around before the Kettering game if a fine is the case.

I don t remember a collection for Liam when he was sent off for showing dissent twice at stevenage . How ever wrong the decision was i m sure Andy would not have been impressed if a player got himself sent off because of mouth .

Totally disagree Nols1974 .

We all know that plonker of a lino was wrong and cost the club the potential of a lot of money . Andy was our spokesman on the day .

I still stand by my original pledge of £25 towards this one .

I'm with Nols1974 on this one.Bookings for dissent and time wasting are stupid and avoidable (easy to say I know) and have cost us already this season, both by players going on to get a second yellow and subsequent sending off and also by the totting up process leading to suspension.

With Andy's record it is obvious that he felt very strongly about this,but he did repeat himself to the linesman after the warning. I believe an important an effective part of management is leading by example,and although I'm sure that there is no way Andy will lose the support and respect of the fans and the team over this it does mean that when and if he warns players about showing dissent in the future it will now be a case of do as I say not do as I do. Unfortunately the officials are right even when they are very wrong.

Considering how close some seats are behind the dugout,

Fair point Super Daz but if Andy is worried about communicating to the Players via the stand, the Club could always invest in a MegaPhone! Take a look at:

I'm sure this would suffice and I bet there's nothing in the FA regulations about using one.

 

Only thing is Andy might drown out the noise of the Drum. Doh!
