Who made the decision?

The Official Site states 'At a specially convened meeting held after the Windsor & Eton game the Club Directors informed Chris Kinnear and Assistant Manager Kevin Raine that they have both been suspended from their duties with immediate effect.'.

 

It does not mention anything about the Chairman and to be honest Colin Page is a sensible and rational bloke who, I do not think, would have it in him to make such a stupid decision.

So that leaves the board of directors. Andrew Page, Kim Marsden, Alan Bown and Malcolm Rowlett have all only been at the club five minutes (all joined this season?) so in my opinion would not be in a position to decide that a man who has done everything for this club must go. Leon Piper is also relatively new and only his father has any history with the club as far as the board go.

I am assuming that it would have had to be a majority decision and not that of just one man and it would be interesting to see comments from the other directors on this. Having said that they will probably toe the official line rather than speak out.

They couldnt give a crap about us unless the subject is money. The most stupid decision of them all. So we lose a loyal manager who at the very least should have got 4 months next season and at best we get someone come in who will be wary of the club's track record with the stadium issues, will want to bring in their own players and need time to bed in, will not have the track record of CK. IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE.

I thought the club was still deciding who was the Chairman, though I would imagine Colin Page would have been Acting Chairman.

 

It only takes one person to push and if they have enough influence they can sway the Board. I think we are thinking of the same person here.
