Chris Kinnear

Have had a few hours for the news to sink in and I'm even more bloody annoyed than I was before. I know this has been said in numerous messages before but WHAT THE F**K ARE THE DIRECTORS THINKING!!!!!!! I am totally lost for words and can only feel for CK. I know no one man is bigger than the club but i fear this may prove to be a pivotally bad decision in the club's history.

If CK doesn't come back (and I wouldn't blame him even if he was asked to) then he'll be back in management in no time.

CK if your reading this forum I think you gather how much your 'loved' at this club and how disgracefully you have been treated.

TO THE DIRECTORS - PLEASE THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE VERY VERY VERY CAREFULLY. I THINK YOU CAN SEE FROM THIS FORUM THE STRENGTH OF FEELING AND ANGER YOU HAVE GENERATED. CHRIS WAS A ONE OFF BOTH IN TERMS OF HIS ABILITY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY HIS LOYALTY. I KNOW IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE RECONSIDER.

Fans are naturally going to be disappointed after 10 years he was part of the MFC family but talks of boycotting games and petitions will do the future of the club no good whatsoever. By all means chant his name at the matches but the club still needs your support - now more than ever to keep us up and ready for the promotion push next season. All managers have a shelf life - it kind of mirrors what happened to him at Dover. Let's get behind the players for the remaining games and hope that the new appointment comes quickly to prepare us well for the next campaign.

well said mike boycotting the club will lose a lot of revenue and then players and staff will be the ones who will be hit and then the knock on effect starts. go to the games shout, sing do what you all feel relevant but dont walk out on the club.

I dont really know if it is right or wrong to sack the manager at this point of the season but the facts speak for themselves we are no better now than we were at the start of the season although we have signed so called better players. At least we were not losing matches as easily as we are now. I suppose the buck has to stop with someone and that person is usually the manager.

We should be giving our best to the man taking over. How about a big gesture to him next game, which will flow to the players alike by chanting "Robin Trotts Blue & white army". Times are changing! There is no disrespect to CK in doing this. Its not Robins fault.Of all people he has been the one man who has been trying to keep CK in a job with his immaculate performances, more so than anyone else I feel. WE wont forget CK of course we wont and when we do get back into the Conference as we surely will do then we can chant his name and give him the glory he has deserved. But not NOW! 5/6 games to go. Now is the time to pull together with Robin at the helm!

It is easy to see everyone bar a few idiots wants kinnear to stay. He has made the club what it was and gave us games like Fulham, Leyton Orient and Cardiff. What about when we were in the Nationwide conference we finished 8th, 10th, and joint 14th. What a manager. The next manager to come in will come and go just like all the managers before Kinnear.

Total Legend Kinnear

Completly agree the new man needs the full support of the fans (afterall its not his choice to be in charge).
these next few weeks are the most toughest we are to face this year and we will only overcome them by uniting.

Have to agree with Steve Ball's comment above.

Also newspaper/web talk like "Chris Kinnear, who has been in charge of the club for the last 10 years having brought them success beyond any other in the clubs 110 year history" many may disagree with. They would cite the Arsenal nursery period between 1934 and 38 was more successful for the Club.
