From a scan of the Isthmian message board, I've noticed with casual interest that Chelmsford are not everyones' favourite club in the Ryman Premier League. Why is that? [That's question 1] Is 'Peter Foster' an Official at that club? What office does he hold? [i know that seems like two more questions, but treat it as one.]

 

Why does Peter Foster of Chelmsford and the Chairman of Braintree Town appear to take delight in attempting to 'wind up' the fans of Heybridge Swifts on that board? [That's question 3]

1) Because we are excited about next season, and have a realistic chance of promotion, this is seen as BBB.

2) He has no offical capacity at CCFC.

3) Coz he loves to hide behind his PC.

The wierd thing about Foster is that he is rude as hell on MB's but nice as pie to your face - hence the hiding behind the keyboard bit.

And what issue do you have with Heybridge? The club as a whole probably nothing, the players and management team were very unsporting on two of the occasions we met last year. The only concern i have with Heybridge is their constant denial of having a Sugar Daddy but they still manage to pay their players huge amounts for this level (i know two of the players, who are the less well off in terms of their wages - they are still on a fair whack)

Fair play to Ricay by using their facilities to the max by having social events and getting people down to their club.

 

Something we are trying to do, which can only bode well for the finances, off the field
