Do my eyes deceive me, or have we gone 6-4-0 or 5-5-0. If ever I needed confirmation that he has lost the plot, he has left the only fit striker at the club on the bench!

We played 4 5 1 and it worked a treat for 60 odd minutes.

 

with the extra man in midfield we kept the width, and james Smith held the ball up well, and received the support. We battled hard and fully justified taking the lead.

 

Unfortunately once the free kick went in, ( and it was a good one) our soft centre re-appeared.

 

All in all a much better performance and plenty of entertainment and goal mouth action. Its all a question of confidence and Liam needs to earn his money to re install belief back into the team.
