Hi all.

 

As Mark has already posted on here, there will be a press conference tomorrow night at 5:30pm at Stag Meadow, when Eddie Denton will introduce Ashley Hames as Slough's new manager in front of local papers, before taking a question and answer session from the journalists and fans.

 

We want to make this as realistic and so difficult as possible for Ashley - he is only the temporary manager but will be under the same stresses as Eddie copes with in his day to day management. Obviously there is strong feeling throughout the club, some opinons are for the show, whilst others are against. This will be a chance to find out more about the programme, and also test Ashley's fledgeling managerial skills so everyone is welcome. Who knows he might even buy a few drinks afterwards...

Originally it was said to be Polish Club. Could Mr Welsh have this wrong?

Just checking with Roy - hoping that this should all be ok. Originally it was to be at the Polish Club pre-training, but then it was decided that Stag Meadow would be a better back drop and would give more focus to the club (photos in the papers etc.)

 

Will have definite answer in the morning.

Will be 5:30 pm - just spoken to Roy and this will be fine for tomorrow. Due to the amount of things we're trying to fit in tomorrow with Eddie (got to dash off to training straight afterwards) we've had to set it slightly earlier, though we'll probably run on to 6:15pm.

That really will not help the situation..but i guess as many as possible to get there !

Newspapers have been mentioned, but is a press release, summarising what's happening, going to be sent to local radio stations too (to reach as wide an audience as possible)? I'm obviously thinking of Star FM, and to a slightly lesser extent, Radio Berks.
