Something for the summer break.....

At no expense spared we have been able to get hold of a Football quiz which will take you all of summer to complete.

 

There are 120 teams from the Premier - Conference South and all the Scottish teams on a list to help you solve the cryptic clues.

 

All you need to do is match the clue to the name of the team.

There you are - simple!!!

 

The Quiz sheets will be ready for next week's game at Rothwell, the EFC game, Race night and at the Presentation evening. You will be able to obtain the sheets from either myself or Dave Hicks.

 

All you need to do is pay £1.00 to enter. Yes, One Pound!!!

 

Work you way through the quiz and return the sheets to the Town Supermarket by 1 September 2006.

 

The person with the most correct answers will receive a cash prize of £15.00. All profits will go towards the ETFC Supporters Club.

 

Please join in and purchase at least two or three sheets for you and your friends. It will defeat the object of the money spinning idea if you photocopy the sheets for your friends without collecting those £1.00 coins from them.

 

Just to let you know that Mrs J from Harlow got 120 out of 120 when she completed the quiz when it was used to raise funds for the Mildmay Mission Hospital.

 

Now where are those £1.00 coins???

At least 30 people have viewed this thread so that's at least 30 people will come rushing to pay a £1.00 for their copy of the Ultimate Football Quiz. For those northerners, TIM, etc., I can always send you a copy.

Sold 40 copies of the quiz last night which includes the one for TIM. Not a bad start. Arkwright will be photocopying some more for tomorrow and of course next Saturday.

 

Whether we get the 40 back is something else. Some people bought one just to get rid of me!
