Dimitri Kharine has today signed a short term contract with Hornchurch Football Club until the end of 2002. Dimitri expressed a desire to gain experience of Non League football as a prelude to a possible new career as a coach. The 34 year old former Moscow Dynamo, Chelsea, Celtic and Russian International keeper will be involved in all 1st team training sessions, specialist goalkeeping training with our five promising young goalkeepers and also be involved in the league and cup action throughout the next six weeks.

 

Hornchurch Football Club, its Directors, Officials, players and staff are delighted to have secured the short term services (in the face of stiff opposition) of such an outstanding professional and look forward to working with Dimitri until the end of the year.
