At Leyton today

Recommended Posts

Unfortunatly couldnt make the game due to working until 3.

but highlight of my day was the CCFC attendance.

i arrived back at my house in melbourne park at about 3:20 too glorious sunshine and warm weather.

No excuses for all those true fans too not be out today.

and all though i did have the rugby on quite loud.... guess what?? I couldn't hear a thing coming from the otherside of the fence.

Hope all who travelled had a good day out.

Good win that. W&H lost, Fish drew, AFC lost heavily(so H&R won), Staines, Swifts & Worthing all won.

Just seen on Ryman site we got "Team performance of the Month" award! Well deserved.

Yes - I suppose 748 IS a poor turnout for a match between a team in the "mire of end-of-season mediocrity" and one rock bottom of the league and already relegated. So nothing to play for with either team.
Once again, it seems the Clarets made hard work of beating a team they should have trounced - explaining the lack of noise emanating from MP. But then, I wouldn't be surprised if it all turns out to be a cunning plan to "lull everyone onto a false sense of security" in readiness for next season.

youve got to be worried though Dill. Since youve been back in Chlemsford youve lost over 2000 fans.

Youve got to ask yourselves where have they gone? and why have they gone?I mean if you had those people still comin through the turnstiles, you wouldnt need Fat jeffs money would ya?

Whats your problem Thomas ?

Thomas it has been pointed out to me that you played Redbridge at NL on BOXING day ffs , traditionally one of the biggest crowds of the season , still waiting your response

Bazza I was not one of those who predicted,1,000 plus crowds every game , always thought it would be 6-800.
Tom tried to score a cheap point without checking his facts, AFC excepted every other side would be delighted with 748 v Redbridge.

Dillinger...I believe we kicked off at 1pm...traditionally when most people are having their Boxing day lunch...so what is your problem...

Oh and lets face it, Chelmsford City's population is far higher than Billericay's, so a paltry 700 odd isn't really anything to shout about...

But with your MASSIVE signing this Firday and your certainty to win the league next season...who knows, it may grow...
