Actually FF up until the 44th minute we had been largely on top ( despite no shots on target) and it had been a fairly enjoyable game. Chatham Gary's halftime remarks were simply not warranted. The early second goal (very well taken) killed the game and we didn't look in it after that. Aldershot were nothing special. I hate to think what Grays will do to us on Tuesday if Daish's remaining un-injured players don't suddenly gel as a team.

your right saying aldershot were nothing special kmj but they beat us 3-0 so what does that make us,i personally cant remember a decent game of football this season and Chatham Garys right Daish should either walk or be sacked the crowds are down because of the crap football and poor results nothing to do with Gillingham,Charlton or any other london club being at home.We have gone backwards under Daish but i will still be there tuesday because im a fleet fan i watch them whether they are playing well or not not like many other fans?

Presumably in the case of Dagenham away, though, you only mean the last ten minutes or so, after the dull first eighty <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

 

Also, it's worrying that, aside from that Dagenham game, all of the highlights of the season you've listed are from the calendar year 2005.

To be honest I thought the first 44 minutes saw a return to some sort of form, and as I trotted off to the bar thought that we looked the only ones who would get anything out of the game.

Unfortunately ( or fortunately ) I missed their first goal as was in the aforementioned bar. But as soon as it become apparrent we were going in 1 nil down, the comments from the group were, we're [****!!****] now as you will see the confidence drain out of the team.

With Jay not on for second half, the writing was on the wall and you knew what to expect. The second half display was a shocker and we went from bad to worse, and we played like a team that had just met each other and were [****!!****] scared to make a mistake.

 

There was not too memorable performances from any of our lads but it really pisses me off the amount of abuse we give our own players.

The ones giving Fuller abuse in the first half should be ashamed of themselves.

 

I can't wait for the Northfleet end to re open in order to avoid having to stand along the Stonebridge Road side.
