...and it finished 2-1. Bit unlucky. They just edged it I thought, but if we had Hodges with McCleary up-front rather than Ide then the result could have been a lot different.

 

Silly tackle by Avery for the penalty. No need to dive in, should have just stayed on his feet. Dunno how the other results finished, but they were going our way at half-time.

 

Bit disappointed with the midfield today who I thought lost the midfield battle with Mason and Chopper quiet.

 

Thought the back four handled their pacey strikers pretty well today as that's something we usually struggle with. Big plus point today was Steele who I thought was excellent when he came on.

dont believe we deserved to lose today a point would have been fair. josias seemed very quiet lacked his usual attacking ability.

Thought both the referee and linesmen were very poor and why, when we get the ball on the edge of the box, why can't we just shoot?

agreed nathan we had several chances to have a shot but always tried to look for the perfect pass which rarely worked.
