Bravo programme - Update

Radders

i still have to side with ian on this one. i am debating over whether or not to attend the match. on the one side is agreeing with ian and showing my disgust at the offer and not going, but on the other hand i would like to attend as many matches as i can in the run up to the end of the season.

i would not mind if the club was to get a decent packet for participating but to do it for money is completely stupid.

this was due to be my 25th game of the season. as it stands this milestone will go to the windsor match.

i have said it before, if we win this match it will NOT be down to the work of this tv guy and his cameras, it will be the hard work of the players and eddie and westy.

A little over the top isn't it? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, if we do lose against Folkestone it won’t be because of some TV programme, it will be down to the players not performing or the opposition actually being the better team.

If we do win then great, if not then we will no doubt have a good old moan like we do after every other defeat, optimistic will come out from under his stone and tell us this would have never happened in 1789 and some will tell the club I TOLD YOU SO.

Either way I am not losing any sleep over it!

there can only be ONE reason for allowing Coco the Clown to run a semi professional team, and lose its credibility............MONEY.

Dominic implies the club aren't getting any.................then the idea is not just mad its crass stupidity

Imagine if you were a player & battled for 40 odd games to be told in the next game some celebrity unknown was running the show ...........

It will be interesting to see how many people actually turn up on Tuesday then to voice their concerns with the 'celebrity' gaffer.

Can't say I'm that bothered by it, the only thing we have to look forward to for the rest of the season is humiliating Windsor again! At least it should spark some interest, after all, look at the crowd last Saturday against Worthing. Quite a bit down on our average.

does this average you speak of include the gate for the home game against afc wimbledon? only 4 times our typical gate. all the league averages are inflated this season by afc, only those who have yet to host them have proper averages.

Our home league form has been poor, its really our away performances that have kept us outside the relegation places. Perhaps there is a need to look in depth at ways of getting people to turnup next season. Any such planning would need to start as soon as the season is over, and the elections out of the way. Hopefully supporters will get involved in leafleting prior to the elections.

the windsor game could be come very interesting if Windsor continue their fight back...so I am sure it will generate some good publicity...

Folkestone game ...kids free...lets see if we can get the club to agree to another game before the end of the season...

We need another win ..i beleive...or 3 points to be really safe..we will see....

Well said Clive.

Having spoken to some of our officials after the game i'm a bit more for the idea, as Bravo really won't have much say in matters.

There has also already been press interest, and if we can use some of this, as we did in last seasons FA Cup run, to put pressure on the council then that can't be a bad thing.

Realistically as well, Maldon and Windsor have to win all their remaining games to catch us. Hendon still can, but i reckon we will at least pick up a few points somewhere to make us safe (probably Braintree away knowing Slough.)

I will be attending the Folkstone game as Junes sad departure shows there is more heart to this club than I could see.

Lets use this game to show the strenght of the club and and its supporters and have a full turn out to pay tribute to June.
