Do we have confirmed candidates standing in the election or not?

Nomination papers have to be in by noon on Monday.

 

There is a trust meeting tonight where I'm sure the elections will be a main talking point. Hopefully somebody can report back from that on here

Paper work every where...lol... have completed 3 sets so far, i have monday 3rd april to hopefully sort 2 more candidates out...will let you all know monday if paper work in ok and their have been accepted..

 

Also Graham , we will re meet the sub committee at the earliest to sort out the campaign etc etc

maybe next thursday but i will confirm this asap next week..

 

3 deffo's if paper work ok..already lodged at the town hall...

We should raise money for the Trust by running a sweepstake on which one of 'our' candidates will poll most votes!

Can now confirm 3 candidates / will appear on the ballot papers...hoping for 2 more...but at least its a start...next year...we will stand in every ward !

I have had confirmation from the town hall all paper work received and all checked ok !

Our sub committee will meet next thursday to finalise the canvas paper and a press statement

This issue was raised at the EGM on the 13th October 2005 and the trust had 5 months to get their act together.

The Trust can do whatever but if individuals are not prepared to stand, what is YOUR solution? Have YOU volunteered?
