I would like to thank Chris Kinnear and the management team for the excellent feedback we fans get through press interviews and the like. Surely no other club communicates with its supporters in such a forthright manner.

 

I know Chris doesn't read this forum, so perhaps someone will pass this on (although interestingly he does seem to respond to points made on here).

 

We don't all agree with tactical decisions and the like, but as can be seen on another thread we are all true supporters (young and old!) who will support the team whatever.

 

The feedback does help keep up interest and must surely add to attendances.

 

One small point: I know commercial matters are confidential, but perhaps we could have just a little more information about the club's plans for development of the stadium. Just so we can sleep more soundly.

Ck will also chat to anyone on match days. A great guy to talk to. Works tirelessly for the club. Spotted at daggers last night looking at players preparing for next season.

Chris when I first read your post I thought you taking the p*** but on reading on it appears you were being serious. Direct communication between the club,the manager and its fans is sorely lacking. Getting info through the press is not i.m.o. good relations between them & us. I will concede however that a personal confrontation with CK & KP too is always welcomed and answered with honesty & for that,& in that instance they are spot on with their friendliness.Ive tried it,been honest & up front with CK and have been well recieved & replied to,in person,with a large amount of friendliness and respect.

Well no Cookie; actually I am deadly serious. There must be a lot of fans who don't read the message board, and for them the press interviews are surely very interesting. Equally those who make their views known on here must be pleased that CK and the club management take the trouble to explain why things happen as they do.

 

As you say in the second part of your post, you have always been treated with respect and honesty on a personal level. All of us who have spoken to CK and KP will second that.

 

The subtle point I was making (which I will have to lay on thick now) is that we get a lot of feedback on playing matters, but slightly less on stadium development. And as the latter is crucial to the future of the club perhaps a little more information might keep worried fans on board.
