Hate to have to say it again but I said it at the start of the season and in the mid season. The ground aint gonna get built. The money just isnt there. This information came from a fairly reliable source. When I first posted I got a lot of stick from most of you at the time. But now it seems a lot of you are beginning to have your own doubts too.

"Teamster". Not me!. Time equates to money. Does any one think people as professional as those running the Margate and London Whatever its called would waste time on a project which as no chance. Would they go to the expense of flying desiners in from Scotland to meet the council. Did Mr Lever make his Millions with such foolishness, i don't think so, do you.

Thanks BB for the little snippet of info you provided. Im sure the club knows that we are desperate to know but unfortunately once it is available to the wider community then info can get into the wrong hands and be used against us. Its a case of I want to know but I dont want anyone else other than MFC fans to know and thats just not possible.

I too want to see the stadium built asap but I would rather the club take their time, open to others or not, and in the end have a quality stadium built to be proud of, as oppose to the extreme nightmare scenario being realised and another groundshare taking place while Hartsdown Park lies unused because the plans were rushed and so a delay occured while sorted out.

Overall, the common thing we all want to see is our club in Margate itself at Hartsdown Park, for now in the current stadium (which is good enough imo while we wait) and hopefully in the not to distant future in the new stadium!

Surley the most important things about the ground development are:

1) It does not bankrupt the club

2) The new stadium is right for the clubs requirments for the next 15 years.

3) It is a stadium that is firstly for MFC and not any entrepeneurs whim.

Having said that what we have at the moment with a few small cosmetic altrations do for at least next season.

So please MFC do not rush into anything for the sake of it.

Seems NOT to be the councils fault this time Gary.Seems whoever made the plans from before and subsequently got the permission from the council(after years of struggle)have decided that those original plans werent up to scratch. Modifications have had to be made(turning the pitch round etc) so it has to go back to council for permission AGAIN!.

Didnt we have enough problems securing their permission from before. Now altered plans will delay things further or even have that permission denied second time round..who knows, but without any information coming out concerning this some of us are going to wonder why, after all that waiting originally, werent these new plans thought of & submitted in the first place.Sounds like someone got their sums wrong somewhere.I wouldnt put it past the council to say they are fed up with yet another change of plans & deny us the new permission we require. And to be honest if they did then we could have no complaints. I understand the need to get things spot on but all this dithering dosent do anyone any good in the long run & just plays into the hands of those that were desperate to prevent us moving forward in the first place.

As it is now those new plans ae supposed to have been submitted to the council(though even that wasnt confirmed by the club) but nothing has come out from the club as to the outcome of this & I can see nothing on the councils website to say that the plans have indeed been submitted. Its all very annoying & frustrating.

WE got the permission after years of struggle and when it comes the plans get changed again but this time its the club who are holding us back by changing them. Whoever failed to notice certain aspects in the first place seem not to have done their job correctly i.m.o.Its not like they didnt have time to get it right in the first place is it?

We are desperate for the club to up-date us on this but so far we have had nothing but silence.Another concern for us as to why this is also.

Off course if the plans really werent right in the first place then obviously we want to see them put right so we have no problems in the future.

Once again the lack of communication leads some of us to wonder exactly where we stand & to be concerned that things arent running as smoothly as we are lead to believe, which I think is quite natural in the circumstances.

Some are going to accept this, some are going to show concern.I am in the latter catagory I'm afraid.

Thanks Gary.Something inside of me assures me things ARE on track and that things will get sorted but then again another part of me is thinking the opposite.I do have an inkling that this temporary ground we have may be more permanent than temporary in the future.Moreso than we are lead to believe. Thats not a problem as it keeps the club alive but its not the goal we were after those some 4 years or so ago.

Whilst some of us may have had (& may still have) a very minor similar thought in the back of our minds we were prepared to accept that the club know what they are doing and then we could turn round to you & tell you that you were wrong on all counts. We hardly want to be told "I told you so" now are we? Lets hope that despite my negative stance on this this morning we do have get the opportunity to tell you that you & your source where completely wrong on all counts & to also say to you that "We told YOU so".I can also be shot down myself for not showing the trust in the club that I know should be showing as a staunch Margate FC supporter.

Here we go again. Lets keep the forum for positives and nice things only. What the F*** is the forum for but to air our views.I was just putting Chatham Gary in the picture thats all. No-ones saying I'm right & no-one can say I'm wrong but I should still be able to express myself. Seems you are in the catagory to which I'm not then.I wont shoot you down for being as you are so dont please get at me for being the way I am.If my posts arent welcome then have the moderator either delete my posts or bar me completely.

Are you telling me you are NOT concerned in the slightest?

Besides I havent accused anyone of anything have I?

AS for KP since my request for a one off admission price reduction, relations between him & I have seemed to have wained slightly so I wont be seeing him.I shall just have to wait, like all you sensible ones, for the outcome of all this, but with a small dose of bated breath.

I'm sorry but I dont like to be told,in a roundabout way,to shut up & tow the line/go against the grain.
