MP, yes, Oates played as a right back before he joined us. Since he has lost most of his pace so getting forward does not suit him now. Protheroe played as a right back for Gravesend and whoever else in his career. Allman has always been a left back. He played there for Woking. Trott was playing for Billericay and they play 4-4-2. Donovan at Crawley was probably playing the same. Last I looked they played 4-4-2. Unsure of Hasim Deen but let's face it how many players don't know how to play 4-4-2?

 

Now Gradley, was at Gravesend and they play 4-4-2. Sesay is obviously a right winger in 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. Brayley has previously played as a striker or at left wing in 4-4-2 for Canvey. Also at Billericay on loan and as said before they play 4-4-2. Keister is an interesting one. He's obviously adapted to CK's style. But how much longer will he be PLAYING rather than coaching for although he has still got it? Standen was at Welling and as far as I know they played 4-4-2. Yiga, Carshalton play 4-4-2. Chelmsford wanted him so obviously they thought he would fit into their 4-4-2 system.

 

Hockton was at Ricay and they play 4-4-2.

 

That covers all the players in the squad that are getting a game at the moment and bar Edwards, Keister & Oates they all have played in a 4-4-2 system in the last 12 months. I say all although 1 or 2 arent sure of but I doubt I'm wrong. Not many teams do play 5-3-2 anymore! In truth CK is probably not happy with changing his ways and thats probably what it is.

Tactically inept, eh Mike? Count the number of trophies CK has won, first at Dover, then at Margate. Actually that may prove difficult for you because I expect the total is in double figures.

Ask JJ, he is the historian. I dont keep records in my head unfortunately,or should I say fortunately. History of any kind,though extremely helpful at times is not one of my favourite subjects.I too dont believe in living in the past(apart from the 70s of course,they wont go away,hence the hair & gear l.o.l.).Please remind us all of the answer to your question.Though I dont see the relevance in it on this thread.
