Only just saw this , yet if i had received an email from Tracey with somethign like this is in it this morning , then probably would have gone.

 

Any chanc eof having email bullitens on a Monday of all taht weeks games and the on match days say at 9am.

Won 4-1. Looked good again, especially in the second Half. Good free kick scored in first half and then McKimm scored. Number 10, (Presume he was a trialist) looked sharp and scored and then an own goal from Waltham Forest sealed the game.

I though Ashley Fuller played really well some great runs down the wing and good crosses. he and Skins linked up well.

Sad as it is in Skins' testimonial year, Watkins is doing enough to keep Skins out of the team at the moment.

 

Fuller, on the other hand, will probably be a bit annoyed that he didn't get a starting place at Stevenage, where, in the absence of Jacko and Jukebox, we played four central midfielders.

Where Skins scores over Watkins is that he has the experience and passing ability to link up with his left winger, whereas Watkins is somewhat limited in his distributional skills, more often or not resorting to the 'big hoof' up to the front men.

Fair points, but Watkins has shown an ability to get forward and deliver excellent crosses in certain matches. There's not too much in it at the moment as far as I can see. Perhaps, in that case, there wasn't really any need to get someone in to replace Skins in the first place.
