There's no point bleeting about what might have been! We're out of the cup and now we just have to play well in the league. I thought we were OK last night but it did worry me to see those two dreadful mistakes in extra time. If we do that kind of thing in league games we certainly won't go up.

i thought i pointed out the other day, that because harrogate railway beat us it does not mean that the draw they got would be the same IF WE HAD WON.we would have had an entirely different number going in the draw.

I think whoever had won our tie had they drawn a league club home or away would have got a live tie on Sky.

Good luck to them. They were a fantastic bunch of fans. Noisy, good humoured and supportive of their team throughout after travelling down in numbers.

Best of luck to them in the next round. I'll be cheering them on from the armchair.

Good Luck Railway!

The matches WERE allocated numbers. So everyone "knew" what number to look out for when the drew was made. I think you get £100,000 for being a televised match which makes the result even more disappointing. T'Railway are now the smallest team left in the cup so presumably had we won we would have been at least the equal lowest remaining side.

Personally don't think I would be able to watch that game, I have only just recovered from the sulks following the result itself.

Yep I was fed up after the Harrogate result as well, but got over it in a couple of days after thinking that we must now go for the league and get back to the Ryman Premier.

It was not as depressing as the Chesham game the day we were relegated I did not get over that for months! <img src="/forums/images/icons/mad.gif" alt="" />

I agree, Chris. Got to concentrate on the league but I am a bit worried about how far behind we have slipped. I thought the most depressing part of the season we got relegated from the Premier was losing at home to Hendon (I think it was them). I KNEW at that point we were gone.

Personally, I still have not recovered from the FA trophy at Southport (sad I know). I was convinced we were going all the way....
