Disappointed with the result, but I thought we put up a good display against one of the top Ryman sides in the league.

 

We started slowly and we looked a little nervous and were lucky to still be level and then we went 1-0 up through an Andy Deaner 40 yard special! <img src="/forums/images/icons/ooo.gif" alt="" />

 

Second half,especially when Metcalfe and Spencer came on I thought that we more than matched them and their keeper kept them in the match the last 10 minutes.

 

Extra time was always going to be difficult as Wilko, Deaner and Gyoury have not played much and a mistake by Dominique and then Ant Howard enabled them to score twice. Pitty because apart from those two mistakes they both had good games.

 

Thought Wilko was excellent considerng its his first game this season. It's one of the best games I have seen him play for Slough.

 

Sadly though the injury list grows as Dean Palmer appeared to limp off, Sammy is out for two weeks with I thigh strain (I think that's the right injury) add to that CJ, Daly, Browne and we really are struggling for players, so I might bring my boots saturday. <img src="/forums/images/icons/smirk.gif" alt="" />
