I know I shall be called 'negative' (as usual) but on current form I cannot see anything better than:-

 

vs. Aldershot ~ draw

vs. Grays Athletic ~ lose

vs. Altrincham ~ lose

vs. Southport ~ lose

vs. Woking ~ lose

vs. Morecambe ~ lose

vs. Halifax Town ~ lose

vs. Burton Albion ~ draw

 

2 further points.

 

If right and I hope that I'm not, a finish around 14th. or 15th. and therefore no LDV place. In my view a very poor end to what could have been a promising season.

Absolutely, a real shocker! And furthermore,it is of real concern to me as my employer is sponsoring this game. It will be an opportunity to introduce the 'Fleet to about 15 guests, many of whom have not previously seen us play before. I would really like even just a few of them to want to venture back again next season. The best scenario would be that both we and Burton need to win to qualify for the LDV.Then we might have an interesting game.

That said, the majority of League sides tend to regard the LDV as a tinpot cup, often playing "squad" players.

You only have to look at the appalling attendances these games attract to see that they are regarded by their fans in the same way as we regard the KSC.

I realise this isn't in the general spirit of this forum but what a good away point to gain from 2:0 down after 21 minutes.

Yes we could all whinge about being 2:0 down in the first place but given the recent run of results and the injury list it would have been easy to not fight back so well done to all of them and bring on the Southport.
