What was going on?

What if someone makes an honest attempt at making a valid observation, or expressing their own opinion, and they're unable to quote from the Collins English Dictionary (because they have learning difficulties, English is not their mother tongue, because they are a child, or because they haven't the benefit of a decent education) - then its not worthwhile for them posting ?

 

Yet according to the media the standard of education is not up to the scratch. What hope for the future.

 

I'm sorry for being pedantic, but I think its a stuck up way of approaching things, and I think half the people on here are stuck up each others behinds.

 

It should not be an issue and new comers should not be met with stuck up observations.

 

That is my opinion, not shared by anyone on here evidently, I can only apologise.

It's not a question of perfect English or lack of education, more a question of using the "enter" key on the keyboard to make a paragraph, which clarifies the post.

My 6 year old daughter has been taught that at school, so it isn't rocket science.

So I apologise that my satire was far to much for you.
I was under the impression that this was SUPPOSED to be a football forum or at least a forum based around football.
It seems to me at times, it's a place for a minority to bitch about others spelling and grammar.So members of this forum who have not been so lucky in the educational stakes as some are ridiculed for having a point of view about the football club they support !!!!!!!!!!

Well sorry in my eyes it makes you dam rude. There again I guess it must make you feel in someway superior to these members.
If that's so then I feel sorry for those particular members of this forum.As you must lead very sad lives.
Maybe just maybe that is why this forum is used far less than others!!!!!!!

Bernard and Up Fleet could make some responses to Percy sports without some "witty" little observation of his lack of hitting the enter key, or his lack of comma's, etc etc.

 

I assume your 6 year old daughter could also understand what percy sports was inferring ?

The point is, why go to the effort of posting on here, if the whole thing looks too boring to look at, even though if you have the patience to read it, the end result is worthwhile.

If someone makes a good point with the odd typo there is nothing wrong with that, but I can't see what the problem is if someone perhaps pointed out the errors.

 

How can you go on about it going over my head when you're excussing people making errors and getting it wrong?

 

If I make errors then I expect to be told that I am wrong. There may well be errors in this very post but after spellchecking it I can not see any.

one show me any post that I have as you put it slagged anyone off.The only time i've had a go on here is in response to people who try to belittle others, over something as small as a missed comma, but there again if it makes you or any other of the minority urine extractors on here to do so feel free. I don't know whats going on, I'm not going to the Fleet anymore.

 

They say the same message your read the top one you can see what it says but its all about effort thats all. It takes about the same amount of time to write them both so why not go that little extra yard.

 

Like I have said before Busta, I don't mean to offend you, I don't even know who you are. You seem a decent enough chap with the best interest's of the club at heart, but you seem for some reason to get it from somewhere that I am attacking you.

 

All I am saying is that if someone, anyone, even me, makes a mistake then it should be pointed out to them and corrected, but those that don't even make the effort are a dissapointment.
