What was going on?

Oh, for f*cks sake!!!!

Do you know Brian Killcullen? Yes, you do. Has he ever picked an argument in your company? Er ... no, didn't think so.

I wouldn't fancy facing up to Liam, but have you ever seen him get physically aggressive during a game?

It's pretty obvious that some Stevenage knob heads were winding up our directors during the 1st half - just as I wound up Weswtley when the Moose turned the game around to win 2-1: only I suspect they went out of their way to be obnoxious, to be heard & absolutely in one's face.

If you have an agenda, chaps, declare it. I'm not over impressed with Liam's team selection or his ability to manage the established part-time players, but when I've decided he's not up tp the job, I'll state it directly, not through consistently undermining postings on this forum.

I can just imagine it....Jason's has had his head shaved, had a few tatoos done, donned his Doc Marten's and is running riot in Stevenage. Just as well Mr F wasn't there or no doubt he would have bitten a few ankles as well !!

Hmmmmmm.......

It's interesting to note that no-one who went to the game yesterday has posted on here yet about the game itself - perhaps just summing up people's (justifiable) apathy now that the season is drifting on to its end somewhat soporifically.

Then again, perhaps it's because everything that came out of yesterday's match has been said before about other games - e.g. no width when Jacko and Jukebox aren't available, made worse by the fact that Fuller is left on the bench; no shots on target (unless you count a first half cross that may just have been on target) until about an hour into the game; a chronic lack of strength in depth in our squad beyond the first XI...

In truth, it's remarkable how a side in a relatively comfortable mid-table position can have had so many lifeless displays in a single season. On the plus side, I'd definitely have accepted such a league placing before the start of the campaign. But if we carry on playing like we have been in the last few weeks, we won't have the luxury of such security next season.

Maybe a fair comment, but I wouldn't know, as I wasn't there, I was nowhere near the cottage, not that there was a cottage, but then I wouldn't know, as I wasn't there !

But let me just say this men........I can say that Mammaria is the biggest disgrace that I have seen at Stonebridge Road this season !!

Regards,

I note several Boro fans have commented that we were one of the worst sides they've seen this season - defence aside. That's saying something for a team in mid-table!

Well Stevenage are the worst side I have seen us play this season. They spent most of the game kicking our players. Must be the dirtist (talentless) team in the league!

Er, there's a clear difference between players like Stamp flailing their arms around when jumping for headers, for example, and their footballing ability, which is clearly superior to ours.

What a non-sensical post.

Maybe it shows something about the quality of our team if 'talentless' players like Jon Nurse, Darryn Stamp, Adam Miller, Alan Julian and George Boyd managed to defeat us so easily today? Have a word with yourself.

Too true.

The highlight for me was Kenny dancing.

We were too narrow and offered nothing going forward. James Smith was found out by a better defence, whilst his effort can't be faulted he just isn't a centre forward.

Good to see Adam Miller still gesticulating at us when they scored - obviously those bullshit comments after the Aldershot game were lies.

It'll be good evidence in my defence when I eventually get nicked for stalking him and attempting to poison all his food. God, I hate him...

I am new to this board but i thought i would give you my point of view. I have been watching the fleet from the start of the season.i find it amazing how many different comments i have heard or read about. yesterdays game had everything missing, team work, from craig in goal to james up front,we dont shut teams down quick enough putting pressure on our back four.ive also read that fans would like passion from our players we have macca, ross, jacko and james smith who when ever plays gives 150% look at the last two games he has played up front and he won us the game last week and worked his socks of yesterday to no avail yet defensively we were absolutly crap weve signed another left sided defender who ive seen before and no better than we have already we should be concentrating on purchasing a centre forward and getting rid of rawle whos got a touch like an elephant. Moore is to light weight not ready yet.We have players on loan like watkins, johnson and fuller who cant put one pass together you have a manager who keeps buying players for their experience, when there is plenty of experience on the bench like mackim, proths and skinner, who in my opinion can get results we need. lets get behind the team liam has at his disposal even though we all feel that changes are needed.
